What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct an array of routine and complex clinical laboratory testsranging from chemistry and hematology to immunologywhile adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory instrumentation.
• Support sample collection processes and prepare specimens for testing in accordance with lab procedures.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new colleagues or students, and help maintain exceptional laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Within one year of employment, obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS).
• Maintain active certification throughout the duration of your employment.
