The department of Community Practice at MU Capital Region MedicalCenter is a full-service health care system that encompasses afull-service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinicsystem, a state-of-the-art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt CancerCenter, a hospital-based fitness facility, home health agency andthe only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in thecommunity. The hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14rehabilitation beds. Referrals come from our 140+ employedproviders who staff a system of 36 clinics in an 8-county servicearea of 225K people.
