Welder - 1st Shift

Production Mig Welder We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. This position involves performing production welding assignments. Primarily will be MIG welding, but may be trained to perform TIG, and Stick/Arc welding on aluminum and steel. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up welding machines, reading blueprints, and producing quality welds in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Set up welding machines based on job requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, tape measurements, welding symbols, and fixtures. Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding. Lay out, position, align, and fit components together. Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure position for final welding. Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on aluminum and steel. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Production welding experience. Ability to weld both aluminum and steel. Strong knowledge of welding symbols, fixtures, and measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measurements. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Must be reliable with good attendance. Physical Requirements: Regularly use hands to handle materials, tools, and equipment. Ability to stand and sit frequently; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally. Good vision and ability to adjust focus required. Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, vibration, and loud noise. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
