Manufacturing Quality Specialist (Electronics) - Drilling Services

Job SummaryExecutes quality assurance processes independently, conduct audits, and ensures compliance with oil and gas regulations.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections and audits across projects.Analyze quality data and recommend corrective actions.Maintain compliance with ISO/API standards.Prepare detailed QA reports and documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Responsible to ensure QMS is followed in accordance with product requirements through API and other Quality standards including independent third-party witness.Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System.Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.Implement strategic techniques to mitigate potential project documentation risks and promote maximum productivityMonitor and control execution of the documentation compilation to meet all order requirements and quality plansReview documentation output from manufacturing and suppliers in accordance with engineering drawings, quality plans and order requirementsServe as documentation representative with client, contractors, and vendors during project reviews, meetings, and correspondencesCollaborate with internal team and vendors to ensure all documentation meets the requirements and is delivered promptlyMaintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate externalSupervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reportsSkills/Education RequiredUniversity Degree/Diploma with 2-4 yrs related experience with electronics.May have Master’s/Grad Degree & 0-2 yrs experienceQBE - Qualified by Experience with electronics.Competent in the use of computer software applications used for administration, including Microsoft Suite and AdobeKnowledge of electronics and PCBAs.Capable of working with minimal supervision or direction.Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner, and to work collaboratively in a team-focused atmosphere. Team player, self-starter, data driven.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Requires excellent technical writing and interpersonal skills.Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a high energy environment.Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles.Computer literate, advanced proficiency of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ERP systems.Ability to read and interpret specifications, engineering drawings, and blueprints.Skills/Education PreferredKnowledge of IPC standards IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.Knowledge of GD&T.Knowledge of quality tools such as PFMEA, GR&R, process flow map, and control plan.Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as SPC, Cpk, Ppk, ANOVA, and pareto.Proficiency developing reports with Power BI or similar software.Knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1 and Q2 requirements.Experience managing calibration program.Experience in process improvement.ISO 9001 or other industry standard QMS audit training/experience/certification, proficiency in formal auditing techniques.Presentation skills enabling effective demonstration of concepts, findings and recommendations to management, Customers, external agencies and auditors.Skills in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.Bilingual in Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese a plus, but not required.3+ years of experience in quality assurance with Oil & Gas manufacturing company.2+ years’ experience with manufacturing company in QA/QC function.Experience with JDE ERP and Power BI.Proficient in reviewing mill test reports, NDE reports, and other quality documentation.Experience scanning, uploading and maintaining recordsASQ CQA and/or CQI.Travel Requirement:This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: <10%About Us:Weatherford is a leading global energy services company.
