Shipping/receiving clerk

Great opportunity for someone looking to jumpstart their career! We are looking for a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Shipping Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing orders for shipment, receiving and organizing inventory, and ensuring packages are accurately processed and shipped on time.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, pays close attention to detail, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $41,600 - $45,760 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and items.
• Use computer systems to enter and update shipping information.
• Print shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
• Load and unload packages and materials as needed.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications
• Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply; previous shipping or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
• Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and navigating software.
• strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

The essential functions of this role include:
