Cleaning Day Porter

Description Corporate Cleaning Group is seeking a Cleaning Day Porter / Housekeeper for multiple locations in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas Shift: Monday - Friday days between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay is: $17 an hour (paid drive time between facility if you work at more than one location each day) Location: Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Facilities: Medical, Schools, Churches, and Offices Position Overview Travel to multiple sites throughout the area to cover open shifts, call-offs, and vacations. Perform and oversee cleaning across multiple commercial buildings Train and support team members to maintain quality standards Conduct inspections and resolve issues quickly Communicate with management to keep operations running smoothly Assist the manager with supplies and laundry No two days are the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys evolving & adapting and staying on the move. What You Will Do Clean and Disinfect - Perform daily cleaning tasks such as restocking supplies, disinfecting surfaces, restroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting/sanitizing surfaces. Keep it Fresh - Maintain neat and organized closets. Follow our Maintenance Monday procedures to ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Support Safety - Follow all cleaning, safety, and sanitation guidelines; including ensuring facilities are secure before leaving. Hours in Harmony - Clock in and clock out for each work shift. Operational Excellence - Follow Job Cards and complete Close Down Checklists. Additional documentation may be required depending on the facility. What We are Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic—experience is helpful but not required (we’ll train you!). Reliability and attention to detail. Understanding and accepting that inspections of your area will be conducted and be open to constructive feedback when there are areas that need more attention. Respond with urgency to any areas that need more attention as a result of an inspection. Ability to work on your feet and handle repetitive physical tasks.
