In this position, you'll transform raw materials into finished products using tools, equipment, and skill. Every cut, seam, and finish reflects your attention to detail and the pride you take in your work. This position is to specialize in fabricating solid surface (Corian) countertop materials where a significant amount of hand fabrication is required. Many applications will require wood backers be designed and built by the fabricator to support the project after installation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and blueprints to produce solid surface countertops within tolerances and specifications
• Operate power saws, routers, and hand tools of various sizes
• Sand and polish countertops with skill and finesse
• Use glues and caulks to join seams and parts
• Physically lift and move substantial parts

Preferred Job Qualifications

• 1-3 years fabrication/building experience

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
• Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow all safety requirements
• Ability to use measuring tools
