Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Nashua, New Hampshire. This vital role involves providing comprehensive direct and indirect patient care within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This includes conducting thorough patient assessments upon admission, collaborating with physicians to develop care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, and reviewing diagnostic test results.
• Collaborate with physicians to plan and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely patient documentation.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and standards of care.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrate respect for patient's culture, lifestyle, religion, and age in all aspects of care delivery.
• Interact positively with team members and accept constructive criticism professionally.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization.
• Specialty certification (e.g., CEN).
