Inventory clerk

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining precise inventory accuracy across the facility. This role involves performing regular cycle counts, reconciling stock discrepancies, managing inbound and outbound inventory movements via RF scanners, and ensuring the Warehouse Management System (WMS) reflects real-time stock levels.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Tracking & Auditing

• Conduct daily cycle counts and periodic full-physical inventory audits according to schedule.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies (e.g., missing stock, misallocated items, damaged goods).
• Audit inbound receipts and outbound shipments for quantity, lot control, and part-number accuracy.
• Track damaged, returned, or quarantine inventory and process scrap or vendor returns (RMA) as instructed.

System Data & Scanning Operations

• Utilize RF handheld scanners and the WMS to log stock locations, item transfers, and adjustments.
• Ensure proper bin/rack labeling and maintain correct location tracking for all SKUs.
• Generate and analyze daily/weekly inventory reports for management.
