Job Details:

• Serve as Medical Director of a multidisciplinary Memory Care Program focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders
• Provide visionary leadership, direction, and oversight of the Memory Care Program in collaboration with institute clinical and administrative leadership
• Deliver personalized, coordinated outpatient evaluation and care for memory patients - no inpatient call or hospital-based care required
• Facilitate the development and implementation of standardized practices and clinical pathways
• Ensure seamless access and efficient patient throughput across the program
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Neuropsychology, Clinical Social Work, and Advanced Practice Nursing
• Utilize advanced diagnostics including dementia biomarkers, neurocognitive testing, and amyloid PET imaging
• Offer innovative therapies including anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody treatment
• Recruit and supervise faculty and practice personnel to support programmatic growth
• Educate residents on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cognitive disorders
• Initiate and participate in clinical research programs related to cognitive disorders
• Lead Memory Care Clinical Council meetings with representation from multiple disciplines, regions, and care venues
• Develop care protocols incorporating the latest brain imaging techniques, dementia biomarker testing, genetic risk factor assessment, and disease-modifying therapies
• Collaborate with other councils, regions, institutes, departments, and providers to form a seamless care continuum
• Ideal candidate is a BE/BC Cognitive Neurologist, Memory Care Specialist, or General Neurologist with training and expertise in dementia-related cognitive disorders
• Fellowship training required
