CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00).

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans and ensuring the highest quality imaging while adhering to safety standards and protocols. This role requires expertise in 3D rendering techniques, patient care, and proficiency in relevant charting systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures with precision and in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize advanced rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection and volume rendering.
• Administer contrast media as necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including radiology, pharmacy, and support services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification required.
• Valid West Virginia state license or equivalent compact license required.
• Experience in trauma imaging preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
