Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a Charleston, West Virginia patient service center working Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and delivering customer service in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Process billing and collect payments from patients
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
