Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician will provide pharmaceutical services to staff to include preparation of medications to be dispensed, maintaining inventory and a variety of administrative and operational functions as a member of the pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administration
• Performs a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies and medications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areas
• Performs a variety of patient care related services that indirectly affects each patient's quality of care
• Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the Pharmaceutical Services Department

Required Responsibilities:

• Pharmacy Technician licensure

Preferred Responsibilities:

• 2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience
• 1+ years IV compounding experience

The pay range for this position is $31.11 - $43.92/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
