Our client, an industry leader in door manufacturing, is seeking an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly line. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Location: Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range: $18

Shift: Evenings (01:00-02:00)

What's the Job?

• Verify materials being used by reading the bill of materials to ensure correctness
• Ensure materials meet quality expectations and label units as needed
• Assemble fabricated parts into larger subassemblies and complete units, including door assembly
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following SOPs and safety guidelines

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• 1-2 years of experience in door manufacturing or woodworking preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and operate manual and pneumatic tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions
