Warehouse Associate I – Distribution Center Olive Branch, MS

Full-Time | 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM

Pay: $16.00/HR | Overtime: $24.00/HR

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Protective Industrial Products (PIP) is seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate I candidates to join our growing distribution center in Olive Branch, MS.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse or distribution experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Warehouse Associates play an important role in receiving, sorting, labeling, packaging, shipping, and inventory operations while helping ensure products are accurately prepared for customer distribution.

Responsibilities Warehouse Operations

• Receive, sort, label, package, and organize products within the warehouse

• Perform floor picking and prepare customer orders for shipment

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and outbound distribution activities

• Maintain accurate inventory organization and product handling

• Support daily warehouse operations while meeting productivity and quality standards

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate RF Scan Guns and labeling equipment

• Follow all operating procedures for warehouse equipment

• Report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly

Safety & Quality

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Identify and report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, or quality concerns

• Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives

Teamwork

• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily production goals

• Support cross-functional warehouse activities as needed

• Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center experience preferred

• Experience with shipping, receiving, packaging, labeling, or order picking

• Experience using RF Scan Guns is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred

• Previous experience in a distribution center

• Experience with inventory handling or warehouse operations

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift

• Ability to perform repetitive warehouse tasks safely and efficiently

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment for the duration of the shift

Employment Requirements

• Full-time attendance and reliability are required.

• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must provide proof of current valid U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or U.S. Person eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.

• Reliable transportation to Olive Branch, MS is required.
