Senior Tax Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing regional CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. • Review complex C Corp, S Corp, and partnership income tax returns
• Review of high-net-worth individual returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
• Identify and leverage tax planning opportunities
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Training and supervision of staff members

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• CPA is a must
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience including tax return preparation and review,
• Expected to have good communications skills and correspond both orally and in writing with clients and tax authorities
• Experience managing & mentoring staff

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
