Design Verification Engineer

Design Verification Infrastructure EngineerJoin SiFive's Design Verification Infrastructure team to develop and maintain the Verification Platform technologies used across SiFive. An ideal candidate will be a systems engineer with a desire to accelerate Design Verification through new technologies. You will be expected to collaborate with the Platform Technologies team that developed Chisel and CIRCT to bring new functionality to bear on Design Verification challenges.Responsibilities:Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform to provide a common infrastructure that scales with the growth of SiFive for Design Verification and other verification and validation activitiesDevelop new functionality in Chisel and CIRCT to support Verification Platform libraries and toolsDevelop Verification Platform libraries for expressing verification intent in Scala with Chisel, including test harnesses, stimulus, scoreboards, and other generatorsDevelop Verification Platform libraries for querying design intent in Python from verification tools, including from specs, generated metadata, and other sourcesDevelop Verification Platform tools and methodologies to support end-to-end flows used by Design Verification other verification and validation teamsEducate the Design Verification and other verification and validation teams on best practices and how to achieve them with the Verification PlatformRequirements:Software engineering experience in at least one compiled language and one scripting languageUnderstanding of modern software engineering practicesExperience deploying software systems into production environmentsDesired:Experience with Chisel, CIRCT, and/or MLIRHistory working on systems software like compilers, databases, and/or operating systemsUnderstanding of EDA tools and flows for Design VerificationPay & BenefitsConsistent with SiFive values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience.For candidates who receive and offer, the starting salary will vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, such qualifications as, skill level, competencies, and work location. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee.Base Pay Range$158,760.00-$194,040.00In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for variable/ incentive compensation and/ or equity.
