Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal nursing care to critically ill neonates within a Level IV NICU. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for neonatal patients and support families through education and care coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced neonatal nursing interventions, including respiratory support and medication management.
• Monitor vital signs, develop care plans, and document patient progress accurately in EPIC.
• Perform invasive procedures such as line management, intubation, and blood product administration.
• Educate families on neonatal care, feeding techniques, and symptom management.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including PPE and isolation procedures.
• Float within units (Neonates, Peds, PICU) based on skillset, maintaining high-quality care standards.

Qualifications:

• Active NJ or Compact license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Level III NICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; PALS preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in neonatal ventilators, lines, and medication calculations.
• Strong clinical skills in thermoregulation, feeding support, and respiratory management.
• Ability to work night shifts and cover holiday rotations.
