The Maintenance Helper will be responsible for assisting all Maintenance personnel with minor repairs in all trade disciplines. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health Care Center. Competencies Cleans various maintenance areas. Office and shop. Coordinates use of specialized maintenance tools and equipment. Picks up and delivers parts and supplies as required for the maintenance department. Assists all other technicians in all trade disciplines. Cleans CH vehicles & equipment. Moves furniture and other related equipment. Assists groundskeepers. Performs minor repairs such as: Light bulb replacement. Unclogs toilets and sinks. Hangs pictures. Performs some preventive maintenance functions such as: Filter changes.Cleaning. Vehicle PMs. Keeps an inventory of vehicle parts (bulbs, wipers, fluids, etc.). Assists with snow removal. Schedule: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday - Friday. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
