Production Lead (Food Manufacturing)

Summary

Lead daily production, keep lines running efficiently, support the team, and ensure food safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Run production lines and hit output targets
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment
• Reduce downtime and report issues
• Train, guide, and hold team accountable
• Assign work and manage labor efficiently
• Support process improvements
• Track performance, downtime, and materials
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance
• Complete shift reporting

Requirements

• 1–2+ years in food manufacturing or warehouse
• Bilingual English/Spanish (English literacy required)
• Equipment operation + troubleshooting experience
• Leadership or team lead experience
• Knowledge of food safety (GMPs)
• Able to lift 50 lbs., stand long periods, work in cold
• Basic computer skills
• Flexible schedule (early starts, overtime, some weekends)

Schedule

First shift (5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.), with some early starts and Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmwood Park, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
