Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and backhoes.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a heavy equipment technician.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
