Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment with flexible scheduling options of either 4x10-hour day shifts or 5x8-hour day shifts, based on traveler preference. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred
• Active SLP license required (Pending Wisconsin license accepted)
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills required
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans required
• Experience documenting in electronic medical records preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team required

Responsibilities include conducting speech-language and swallowing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy for speech, language, voice, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders, documenting patient progress, modifying treatment plans based on outcomes, educating patients and caregivers, collaborating with physicians and rehabilitation teams, participating in discharge planning, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering evidence-based therapy services to improve communication, safety, and functional independence.
