Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Certification required
• Secondary Generalist Certification required
• Experience with high school-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in special education and the ALE model

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that accommodate individual education needs in an ALE setting
• Assess student progress, document performance, and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure an integrated approach
• Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians, keeping them updated on goals and achievements
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
