Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager - UPLIZNA - Detroit, MI (Rare Disease)

Amgen seeks a Specialty Account Manager to represent UPLIZNA in the rare disease space across a designated territory. The role involves driving product demand, managing healthcare provider relationships, and coordinating cross-functional teams to support account needs and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Represent UPLIZNA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales within assigned territory
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plan to achieve annual sales goals
• Coordinate with patient services, market access, and field teams to address account access, reimbursement, and pull-through issues
• Educate healthcare professionals on disease state, product information, and site of care options
• Manage promotional and operational budgets and report territory activity to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of account management, sales, or commercial experience
• Pharma account management experience; ability to coordinate across field teams
• Buy-and-bill and biologic/infusion experience strongly preferred
• Site of care and reimbursement experience strongly preferred
• Sales experience in specialty disease areas (rheumatology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, rare disease)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% including overnight and weekend commitments
