Position Overview

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, providing clear and empathetic explanations
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic images
• Safely operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Record procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
