As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying residents and visitors, managing access credentials, and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access at the residential community entrance; verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and vendor records, and direct guests according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
