A Fork Lift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by managing the safe and timely transport of materials throughout the facility. Working within a medium-sized team and reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this position demands precision, attention to safety protocols, and effective communication to support overall warehouse productivity.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials using forklift equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
- Assist with order fulfillment to meet shipping deadlines
- Collaborate closely with team members to optimize workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in forklift operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
