Anticipated, Language Arts Teacher (26 - 27 School Year) - FMS @ SGS Franklin Township School District, Sampson G Smith Middle School – Somerset, New Jersey Job Description Language Arts Teacher Provide daily instruction and support for students in accordance with Board approved curriculum. Qualifications Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: Teacher of English or Elementary School with Subject Matter Specialization: Language Arts/Literacy Specialization in Grades 5-8 Ability to maintain a positive learning environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act Successful Criminal History Clearance Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization Terms of Employment 10‑Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and applicable collective bargaining agreement. Compensation In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 School Year is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) – Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
