Employment Details

Location: Winchester, VA
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

An outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy to oversee clinical services, staff performance, and daily clinic operations. This role is designed for a licensed Physical Therapist who can bring strong clinical knowledge into a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Direct outpatient physical therapy services and clinical operations
• Conduct patient evaluations and establish treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy care for pain, injuries, post-surgical recovery, and mobility limitations
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and clinical support staff
• Review documentation, progress notes, and discharge plans
• Support compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements
• Assist with clinic organization, patient flow, and quality improvement efforts

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
• Prior director, manager, or lead therapist experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient care standards
