As a Food Service Manager, you will be instrumental in managing staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining high-quality service across various food service settings, including casual dining, quick service, and catering environments.Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety protocols, and elevate customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.### Responsibilities* Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth shifts* Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leads* Manage scheduling, labor, and payroll efficiency* Monitor food quality, freshness, and operational standards* Drive sales through guest engagement, upselling, and catering initiatives* Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the restaurant* Handle inventory, ordering, waste management, and product rotation* Respond to customer concerns and ensure excellent service recovery* Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures### Experience* Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service or fast food restaurants with casual dining or fine dining backgrounds.* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management.* Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and operational oversight.* Strong background in food safety practices, inventory control, budgeting, and restaurant management principles.* Excellent customer service skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
