Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mid 5x8-Hour Shift (15:00 - 23:30).

The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures, including abdominal, chest, and brain scans, using advanced imaging technology. The role involves working in diverse settings, including emergency departments and outpatient facilities, requiring flexibility and the ability to float to various units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans with and without contrast.
• Administer contrast media safely to patients.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment accurately.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with radiation.
• Document patient information and imaging results using the Epic charting system.
• Assist in special procedures as needed, including biopsies and aspirations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
• BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certification.
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred.
