Description: The position requires a minimum of one year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Weekends are required, with a rotating schedule. Certification in ARRT R, BLS, and venipuncture is mandatory. The candidate must be willing to float between like units as needed. Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager's discretion. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility may call off staff once per two-week pay period. The facility is an acute care hospital with 277 staffed beds. Technologists will work 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break. The patient care environment includes diverse age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The daily patient diagnoses include code strokes, traumas, TAVR, and general CT exams. Floating to outpatient services may be required as needed depending on patient volume. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. The traveler must be willing to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References are required covering one year of clinical experience. Two references within the last three years are needed during the compliance process. Modules are required but are non-billable and must be completed pre-start and annually.
