• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 5x8 Schedule Available
• 2x12 + 2x8 Schedule Available
• 40 Hours Per Week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurses (RN) to provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will have prior psychiatric nursing experience and be comfortable working in a therapeutic environment while supporting patients with mental health and behavioral health needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Manage medication administration for assigned patient populations.
• Complete nursing assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor patient behavior, mental status, and treatment response.
• Respond appropriately to psychiatric emergencies and behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Participate in treatment planning and patient care conferences.
• Serve as Charge RN when assigned and provide clinical leadership.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and nursing best practices.
• Foster a safe, therapeutic, and supportive patient environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License .
• Previous Psychiatric or Behavioral Health Nursing Experience required.
• Strong patient assessment and medication administration skills.
• Experience caring for multiple psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Ability to maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification .
