AHP, Associated Health Professionals, Inc., a Joint Commission Certified supplemental healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (DRTs) to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System .

This is an excellent opportunity for Radiologic Technologists seeking flexible per diem work with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts available.

Position Details

• Position: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (DRT)
• Location: VA San Diego Healthcare System
• Schedule: Per Diem – Days, Evenings, Nights & Weekends
• Pay Rate: $64.00/hour / $512/ 8 hour shift
• Work as many shifts as you'd like—up to 7 days per week , based on monthly scheduling availability.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required for Federal Employment (VA) positions.
• Minimum of two (2) years of current, consecutive Diagnostic Radiologic Technology experience ; hospital experience preferred.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (R) certification
• Current California Fluoroscopy Permit required
• Current, Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• Experience operating C-Arm equipment in a clinical or surgical setting.
• Demonstrated experience performing fluoroscopy procedures and assisting physicians during image-guided interventions.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to caring for Veteran patients.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after December 31, 1959.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and move patients, equipment, and supplies in accordance with safe patient handling guidelines.
