General/Emergency Radiologist

$3,825 - $4,950 per day

RP Chicago, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking board-certified or board-eligible General/Emergency Radiologists for flexible weekend, remote 1099 opportunities. This position offers autonomy and work-life balance, allowing radiologists to work from home with an adaptable, non-shift-based schedule. The role involves interpreting a diverse case mix including STAT/ER cases, supporting emergency and inpatient imaging needs during overnight hours, and leveraging advanced AI technology to optimize workflow.

Practice Info

  • Remote position based in Illinois
  • Independent Contractor (IC) - Part-time (0-29hrs/week)
  • Utilizes Radiology Partners' Mosaic AI Operating System for workflow optimization
  • RP Chicago has been delivering radiology services to Chicago Southland neighborhoods since 1972

Responsibilities

  • Comfortable with all diagnostic interpretations including STAT/ER cases
  • Support emergency and inpatient imaging needs during overnight hours
  • Interpret case mix including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films from busy emergency departments and inpatient services
  • Read non-subspecialty diagnostic imaging studies

Compensation

  • Estimated earnings of ~$3,825-$4,950 per shift based on typical volumes
  • Up to $100,000 Starting Bonus
  • Fellowship Stipends Available
  • Alternatively, an Independent Contractor position can be arranged
  • Compensation range of $50,000-$250,000

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible General/Emergency Radiologist
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Ability to secure an Illinois License
  • Only one state license required to begin
