Unit Coordinator - Med Surg Ortho/NeuroPRN/Optional - TriHealth Bethesda North HospitalLocation: 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242Work Schedule: PRN/Optional evening shifts averaging 16 hours weeklyThe 6300 Medical-Surgical Unit at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is a 41-bed unit that specializes in the care of orthopedic, neurosurgery, and trauma patients. Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from total joint replacements—such as knee, hip, and shoulder—as well as those with hip fractures or requiring spinal surgery. This fast-paced unit offers a supportive environment for role transition students, nursing students, and new graduates to thrive and grow, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and delivering high-quality patient care. Nurses here have the opportunity to refine their skills in areas such as managing pre- and post-operative care, pain management, patient mobility, and neurovascular assessments. Our team also handles orthopedic-specific interventions, including the use of splints, Buck's traction, skeletal traction, and specialized durable medical equipment (DME). Nurses can further advance their expertise through certifications such as MED-SURG, GERO-BC, ONC, Pain Certification, and CNRN.
