Financial Controller Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned financial controller to lead all accounting operations for our client, a growing medical manufacturing firm. Based fully on-site in Mooresville, North Carolina, you will be a key partner to the executive team, shaping financial strategy and driving performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and budgeting.
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and financial processes.
• Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial analysis and guidance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance.
• Ensure full compliance with all financial regulations, GAAP, and industry standards.
• Manage the preparation for financial audits and tax compliance activities.

What You Will Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of eight years of executive-level accounting or finance experience, preferably gained within a manufacturing environment.
• At least five years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and an advanced command of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical abilities paired with strong communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

• An MBA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
