Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• Proven experience in accounts payable or as a Staff Accountant with strong AP exposure
• High technical aptitude, especially with Excel
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn complex processes quickly
• Comfortable managing high-volume transaction processing (around 100 payables per day)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proactive with good communication and teamwork abilities
• NetSuite experience is a plus but not mandatory

Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Process a large volume of daily accounts payable transactions with precision
• Download, review, and match invoices to purchase orders and inventory receipts
• Handle in-house and drop-ship transactions efficiently
• Assist with wire transfers, ACH payments, and invoice processing
• Follow detailed flowcharts and established procedures to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Balance multiple deadlines while supporting other accounting functions
• Support special projects, process improvements, and backup coverage for team members
• Assist with inventory management, POs, and related financial transactions
