Senior Director Marketing, HIV Treatment Portfolio Strategy

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Director to define and advance integrated portfolio strategy across its HIV Treatment brands. This leadership role ensures brand strategies and commercial approaches work cohesively to maximize patient impact, portfolio value, and franchise growth while maintaining clear accountability.
Responsibilities
- Define integrated HIV Treatment portfolio strategy and establish brand roles and interdependencies
- Lead portfolio investment planning, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions
- Identify and assess growth opportunities, competitive risks, and strategic trade-offs across brands
- Establish governance structures and decision-making frameworks for cross-brand coordination
- Translate portfolio strategy into enterprise priorities and strategic guardrails for brand leaders
Requirements
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical portfolio strategy or commercial leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior leaders across functions
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with market and competitive insight
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex organizational trade-offs
- Track record of translating strategy into executable business priorities
- Knowledge of HIV treatment market, patient needs, and competitive landscape
