Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, where you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their mobility and independence. This position involves treating 3-4 patients daily, with the occasional need to handle up to 5 patients. You will be supported by therapy techs to assist with patient care and provide effective therapy utilizing advanced rehabilitation technology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and developing personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Implementing therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care goals.
• Maintaining documentation of patient progress in the Meditech system.
• Performing wound care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with the Care Tool and advanced therapy equipment preferred.
