Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate tailored therapy approaches that help them achieve critical functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Coordinate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work cooperatively with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic patient care
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers about therapy methods to support sustained progress at home
• Track and Adjust Treatment Outcomes: Monitor patient development and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain progress

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education program
• Encouragement for continuous education and advanced certifications

Licensure and Certification

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
