Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: 12-hour Night Shift: 1845-0715 Every other weekend Work major holidays

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current MO or Compact RN License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• 1 year of PCU RN experience
• High acuity drip experience preferred
• Experience with arterial lines and bipap-Airvo preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a progressive care unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making decisions based on clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care for patients.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation begins on the first day with a 2-day program, followed by unit-specific and clinical orientation.
• Nicotine-free facility.
• Bi-weekly pay; client may cancel one shift per pay period at no cost with a minimum 2 hours notice.
