Job Description
Title
Labor & Delivery - Registered Nurse

Schedule
PM shift support; must be flexible for weekends.

Assignment Details
Guaranteed hours may vary; facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements
- Current California RN license
- 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced or C-EFM accepted, BLS, NRP
- Experience with Epic charting
- Patient ratio experience: 2:1
- Charge experience and precepting skills preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage low and high-risk labor and delivery care, including TOLAC/VBAC
- Conduct newborn assessments and neonatal resuscitation
- Circulate and recover patients post C-section; ability to scrub for C-section is acceptable
- Perform internal fetal monitoring, including applying and interpreting FSE and IUPC
- Manage postpartum hemorrhage and administer blood products
- Assist with the setup of delivery tables and support assisted vaginal deliveries (forceps/vacuum)

Compliance / Notes
- 24 hours of orientation required
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 specified holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- RTO requests must be included with submission
- Free parking available.
