If you do, then be with an organization that is growing and helping each new generation stay up to date with the most advanced solutions in integration.Position Summary: Commercial Project EngineerA Commercial Project Engineer is proficient at working in commercial environments to deliver impactful and effective system documentation. They are the technical expert to the Tech Ops team through the lifecycle of a project. They are responsible to ensure a project is executed with excellence as well as meets all design requirements laid out in the scope of work. This is done through comprehensive design review, bill of materials accuracy review and augmentation, scope of work review, as well as executing detailed project documentation.Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Be the technical Liaison for the Tech Ops team.Interface & maintain ongoing dialogue for projects with Clients, Sales, CAD, and Tech Ops team membersEnsure well executed system installation through detailed documentation packages, including but not limited to: AutoCAD drawingsIP and network documentationSystem commissioning documentationChange order and RFI documentation and scopes of workIdentify all cabling and miscellaneous material needsDirect technical teams on installation challengesProject manager liaison for engineering inquiresAssist and perform ongoing technical assessment, and support for tech ops during integration, install, & commissioningMeet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate productsWriting and commissioning digital signal processing programmingOther duties assigned as neededAbout AVDGFounded in 1996, Audio Visual Design Group (AVDG) is a leading design-build firm specializing in next-generation AV design & integration, revolutionizing smart homes, smart enterprises, smart venues for clients across the United States.
