Setup Technician
Viking Plastics
This position will be responsible for a variety of duties to pull and set molds, prepare auxiliary equipment, and set process parameters in preparation for job startup.Include but are not limited to the following: Maintain work areas in professional manner Prepare the press and mold for the next job Clean and prepare all auxiliary equipment Stage all materials and equipment prior to the setup of the next job Maintain the setup priorities on the dispatch list Minimize press downtime due to setup Complete setup/startup/job paperwork as required by ISO 16949 Complete Line Clearance procedure Communicate with operators, process technicians, changeover, and quality assurance as to the status of the job Troubleshooting of process parameters on poorly performing jobs Startups as determined by the Supervisor Coverage for Process Technicians as required Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate Attend training as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
