Executive Director - HIM and Revenue Integrity

The Executive Director-HIM Services & Revenue Integrity is responsible for directing and administering all activities of the Health Information Management departments and coordinates the department's functions in accordance with accepted standards and administrative policies. This position is responsible for directing the release of information for Baptist Hospital and Physician Enterprise. This position is responsible for the coding and compliance function across Baptist Health Care: Acute and Physician Enterprise. The Executive Director-HIM Services & Revenue Integrity directs and administers all activities of the Corporate Revenue Integrity department and coordinates the department's functions in accordance with accepted standards and administrative policies. This position determines fiscal/budgetary requirements and prepares departmental budgets for all departments, in addition monitors/verifies/reconciles expenditures of allocated funds. Ensures the optimization of medical records data while complying with third party payors.Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the organization’s overall mission.Manages team members which include orientation, development and evaluation of personnel, and monitoring the provision of delivering quality services. Participates in the recruiting, interviewing and selecting of team members following policies, guidelines and applicable laws. Evaluates their performance relative to job goals and requirements.
