Sterile Processing Technician

Responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly decontaminated, inspected, assembled, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked in a quality and timely manner throughout the organization. Works independently with little or no supervision. Qualified to train others in Sterile Processing. Serves as a resource to Sterile Processing customers. Knowledge and compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines is essential. Call may be required depending on staffing levels.
