Role Description The Residential Journeymen/Apprentice Electrician will perform day-to-day electrical work on residential projects, including new construction, renovations, service calls, and system upgrades. Responsibilities include installing wiring, panels, fixtures, devices, and equipment in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, as well as troubleshooting and repairing existing systems. The role involves reading and interpreting plans and diagrams, coordinating with site supervisors and other trades, and interacting professionally with homeowners to explain work and ensure satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Norton, MA, requiring consistent presence at job sites and occasional travel to nearby project locations. Qualifications Experience working in residential environments and familiarity with Residential Real Estate project workflows. Strong Communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks. Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, explain technical details clearly, and maintain a professional demeanor. Basic Sales awareness to identify additional service needs, discuss options with customers, and support company growth. Minimum 3+ years of residential electrical experience as a journeyperson or apprentice, with active state electrical licensure or apprentice registration. Solid knowledge of NEC requirements, local codes, and best practices for residential wiring and safety. Ability to work safely with hand and power tools, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks in varied job site conditions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a crew.
