What You’ll Experience

• Build and maintain security artifacts like Risk Management Framework (RMF) security plans, testing plans, and System Impact Analyses to ensure compliance, readiness, and legitimate security of government systems.
• Conduct security tests and vulnerability scans using both manual and automated methods to identify and address risks.
• Collaborate with Development and Test teams to integrate and verify security requirements in cutting-edge cloud-native DevSecOps environments.
• Lead and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events, ensuring systems meet critical security standards.
• Work on-site at customer facility in Boulder Colorado, Buckley Air Force Base or remotely from home (3-5 days/week on site), driving hands-on impact.

What You Bring to the Table

• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 RMF, STIGs, and the Assessment and Authorization process.
• Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, and cloud-native technologies (FedRAMP experience is a plus).
• A proactive security mindset with the ability to identify and challenge system behaviors that deviate from security principles.
• Exceptional communication skillsboth written and verbalwith the ability to convey complex security concepts clearly.
• Active Secret (required).

Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $118,570.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
