Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses Act as a leader in optical acumen Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail to meet standards and customer needs Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions Accurately and thoroughly use technology despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and tool use Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward‑thinking and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies Take pride in store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive and organized Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent State Licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder Knowledge of current store merchandise Strong basic math skills Awareness of current fashion trends Ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet for selling purposes Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators Embrace new technology and change Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience Pay Range: $33.69 – $39.02 This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a first‑class total rewards package.
